Poiret put sheer expanded over-skirts on the map and Lucile takes the expanded skirt a step further (towards the floor). Rosettes, flowers and satin bands add substance to the diaphanous over-skirt. The close under-skirt, presumably with slits to allow leg movement, can be seen through the over-skirt.
