1682-1683 Diane-Gabrielle de Damas de Thianges, duchesse de Nevers by Pierre Mignard (location unknown to gogm)

A genealogical thumbnail for her is here. Her mother, Gabrielle de Rochechouart de Mortemart, was the older sister of royal mistress Mme. de Montespan. She married Philippe Jules Mancini who came to France with his five famous sisters.

From the lost gallery's photostream on flickr.

Coiffures are rising and need ornamentation, done here with one or more ribbons. Fripon curls appear eith the high coiffure. Mme. Diane Gabrielle is not a classic beauty, but is very handsome, dignified, and feminine in her dress for this 1682-3 Mignard portrait.
