Hon. Dorothy Savage was born circa 1611. She married Charles Howard, 2nd Earl of Berkshire, son of Thomas Howard, 1st Earl of Berkshire and Lady Elizabeth Cecil, on 10 April 1637. She died on 6 December 1691. She was buried on 10 December 1691 at Ewelme, Oxfordshire, England. Her will (dated 4 December 1688) was probated on 9 December 1691.
She was the daughter of Thomas Savage, 1st Viscount Savage of Rocksavage and Elizabeth Darcy, Countess Rivers. From 10 April 1637, her married name became Howard. As a result of her marriage, Hon. Dorothy Savage was styled as Countess of Berkshire on 16 July 1669.
