1861 Infanta Antonia of Portugal

Posted to Foro Dinastias by Katyusha on 25 August 2009; sepia tone removed by gogm.

Infanta Maria Antonia wore dresses with ornamented bodices as shown by this photo. The bodice ornamentation resembles frogging on military uniforms, but the swags pass right across the middle of the bodice. Aglets are hung at the end of the horizontal ornaments. This is the same dress shown in the previous and following images.
