This is a splendid example of early 1820s day dress with an A-line skirt, a high waistline with a pelisse bodice trying to erupt upwards and upper puffed sleeves. Her bonnet has a very wide rim. Her skirt is decorated with a column of bows off to her left side. Details of the mechanism of her parasol are visible.
