1770 Marie-Antoinette marries Dauphin Louis Auguste

This print shows 15 year old Maria Antonia's wedding to the Dauphin who would be King due the death of two older brothers. He was unequal to the task of changing France into a constitutional monarchy in the way British monarchs had done from William and Mary onward.

Maria Antonia changed her Austrian clothes for French clothes when she crossed into France. Wedding dresses weren't white in 1770.
