This shows the thick collar of her over-dress, in this case with tabbed edges. The collar has a white lining visible at lower right. Beneath that is her ruff, while a carcanet-type necklace, typically bulky for the era, marks where the neck begins. She wears a spectacular jeweled cap adorned with with quartets of pearls and a few well-placed pendant pear drop pearls.
