Woman, possibly Jane Dormer, Duchess of Feria by Anthonis Mor (Philadelphia Museum of Art)

The wary-looking lady in this Mor portrait is said to be Jane Dormer.

I tried various tricks to bring out her skirt - it isn't possible. All I could bring out very little of her handkerchief, not worth the changes elsewhere in the image. She looks like she could be resting on an astronomer's black hole.

She had to leave the country because she was Catholic as Katherine, as the protestant Duchess of Suffolk had to earlier in the 1500s.

Her Wikipedia article is here.

She wears a tabbed vee-waisted vest-like garment  with prominent vertical slashes over another luxurious sleeved garment. The vest is is adorned with jeweled bows and one sleeve has a floral arm band.
