The Lady to left may be Maria Antonia of Portugal, the second wife of Roberto, Duke of Parma, at her side. His first wife, Maria Pia of the Two Sicilies and biological mother of the bride, had died in childbirth in 1882. The Lady to the right may be Lucrezia Nicoletta Ruffo seated next to Adinolfo Lucchesi-Palli. Adinolfo was the son of Caroline Ferdinande, Duchesse de Berry. Roberto and Maria Antonia were the parents of Zita, the last Empress of Austria Hungary.
