Catherine of Aragon is portrayed wearing a square-neckline gown with a partlet adorned with blackwork. This is a good example of the English gable headdress and jewelry. Her partlet is decorated with blackwork. Her dress is a good example of dual necklines, the square neckline created by her bodice and the high round neckline created by her partlet.
