La reine Anne d'Autriche by Frans Pourbus the Younger

From the lost gallery's photostream on flickr that identified the artist as Frans Pourbus the Elder. Frans Pourbus the elder died in 1581, Anne was born in 1601 and she is dressed in 1610s-1620s style with a ruff and vee neckline.

Anne has the freshness of teenage youth in this portrait of her wearing a big ruff, a vee neckline, and slashed accordion (virago) sleeves. The left side of the image shows the shadow of her ruff cast on her lace collar.
