In this allegorical portrait, Amalia van Solms poses as"Flora" with her children. Posted on the Alexander Palace Time Machine Discussion Forum by thijs in black and white on 23 January 2006 with this caption, "Amalia von Solms and her two oldest children William and Louise Henriette (painted by Gerard Honthorst: the painting was inherited by her daughter Catharina and can now be found in Worlitz Germany)." Thijs re-posted the image in color on the same forum on 12 February 2006 noting that Honthorst had painted her as "Flora."
