The museum’s notes translate to:  "Hersilia Castilla (Málaga, 1840). Daughter of Antonio Castilla and Concepción Gómez de Cádiz, natives of Málaga. She married Ismael Ojeda y Perpignan (1840-1896), civil governor in several provinces, in 1872 and had a daughter, Amalia. This portrait was shown in the National Exhibition of Fine Arts of 1867 (No. 315). The upright piano follows French models made in Madrid and Barcelona factories in the 19th century."
