Their Royal Highnesses Princess Maria Pia of Savoy and her sister, Princess Clotilde of Savoy visiting the tomb of their mother, Queen Adelaide of Sardinia by ? (location ?)

Queen Adelaide died in 1855. The priod for wearing mourning colors has passed. Maria Pia was married in 1862 and Clotilde in 1859. This portrait probably dates to not long before Clotilde’s marriage.
